四．语法：

间接引语

  间接引语中时态不改变的几种情况：

 1．表示一般真理时，间接引语中时态不变。（仍用一般现在时）例如：

  The teacher said that there is no air on the moon.

  老师说月亮上没有空气。

 2．在口语中，强调动作或状态现在仍然存在时，时态也可不变。例如：

  He said where Tom had gone.

  他问了汤姆上那儿去了。（汤姆已回来）

  He asked where Tom has gone.

  他问了汤姆上那儿去了。（汤姆还未回来）

  John told me (a few days ago)that his wife was ill.

  （几天前）约翰告诉我他妻子病了。（未说明现在是否还在生病）

  John told me(just now)that his wife is ill.

  约翰（刚才）告诉我他妻子病了。（现在还在生病）

 3．如果直接引语中一般过去时与表示过去特定时间的状语连用时，间接引语的时态则可不变。例如：

  “I joined the Party in 1980,”he said.

  他说，“我1980年入党。”

  He said(that)he joined the Party in 1980.

  他说他1980年入党。

  间接引语中引述一个祈使句时，通常用一个简单句，由复合宾语表示出来。例如：

  He said, “Please come again tomorrow.”

  He asked me to go there again the next day.

  他要我第二天再去。

  He said, “Don’t do that again.”

  He told me not to do that again.

  他让我以后再不要这样做。

  He said, “Get everything ready in two hours.”

  He ordered (told) us to get everything ready in two hours.

  他命令我们在两小时内把一切准备好。
