    1．Eating too much makes you unhealthy.吃太多的东西会使你不舒服。

    Eating too much动名词短语，在句中作主语。例如：

    Playing football is my favorite sport.踢足球是我最喜爱的运动。

    Seeing is believing.眼见为实。

    Running and swimming are good for you.跑步和游泳对你身体有益。

    2．Maybe you are right.或许你是对的。

    maybe是副词，可以单独使用，放在主语之前。例如：

    Maybe you are right.也许你是对的。

    may be放在主语之后，不能单独使用，后面要跟形容词作表语，成为系表结构。例如：

    You may be right.你也许是对的。

    3．I have a problem and I want to know how to solve it.我有个问题，我想知道怎样解决它。

    ①problem名词，“问题；疑难问题”，通常和动词solve连用；question名词，“问题；发问；询问”。例如：

    The teacher asked Jim a question.老师问了吉姆一个问题。

    Kate answered her father’s question.凯特回答了她父亲的问题。

    The teacher helped Jim(to)solve a math problem.老师帮助吉姆解答了一道数学难题。

    Many students write to me and ask me how to solve their problems.

    许多学生给我写信，问我怎样解决他们的问题。

    ②how to solve it是疑问副词+动词不定式的复合结构，在句中作宾语。

    动词不定式可以和疑问代词what, which或疑问副词how, where, when等连用，构成不定式短语，在句中可以作表语、宾语、宾语补足语等。例如：

    The question is when to start.（表语）

    I don’t know where to go.（宾语）

    He showed me how to use a computer. （宾语补足语）

    Nobody told us what to do. （宾语补足语）

    4．I know it is very important to work hard and hand in my homework on time.

    我知道努力学习和准时交作业是非常重要的。

    I know后面跟的是宾语从句，在宾语从句中动词不定式短语to work hard and hand in my homework on time在句中作真正的主语，it是形式主语。例如：

    It is not easy to learn a foreign language.

    It is dangerous to play in the street.

    5．But the problem is that I spend so much time doing my homework that I cannot find any time for my hobbies.

    但是问题是我花费了那么多的时间去做家庭作业，没有时间发展我的爱好。

    ①that I spend so much time doing my homework that I cannot find any time for my hobbies.是表语从句，在表语从句中又有一个结果状语从句that I cannot find any time for my hobbies。

    ②句型spend…doing sth“花费时间干某事” 。例如：

    Lily spent 6 dollars (in)buying that book.李莉花了6美元买那本书。

    He spent his whole life (in) looking after the poor.他把一生都用来照顾穷人。

    Jim spent half an hour (in)doing his homework.吉姆花了半小时做作业。

    6．We like staying out late at night to play football.我们喜欢深夜逗留在外面踢球。

    ①to stay out late 动词不定式短语作谓语动词like的宾语。

    ②to play football动词不定式短语在句中作状语，表示目的。

    7．I really don’t understand why they are so strict.我真的不理解他们为什么那么严格。

    ①why they are so strict是宾语从句。

    ②so副词，修饰形容词strict。

    8．I wish I could have my parents’ support.我希望我会得到父母亲的支持。

    ①I could have my parents’ support是宾语从句。

    ②my parents’ support我父母亲的支持，名词复数所有格形式。名词所有格同物主代词一样，表示所有关系。“-’s”主要用于表示有生命的名词后面，特别是人或高级动物的名词词尾；原词已是复数且词尾是以-s结尾的词只要加“-’”就可以了；原词已经是复数，但不是以“-’s”结尾的，仍然要加“-’s”。例如：

    Mr.White’s telephone number怀特先生的电话号码

    Kate’s cat 凯特的猫

    David’s birthday party戴维的生日聚会

    the teachers’ room老师的房间

    men’s shoes（男）人们的鞋子

    9．You seem to have a lot of hobbies.你似乎有许多爱好。

    ①seem 后面跟动词不定式短语。例如：

    He seemed to have known the truth. 他似乎早已知道事情的真相。

    He seems to be thinking about something. 他似乎正在考虑某事。

    Something seemed to be wrong with the train. 火车好像出了故障。

    ②seem后面还可以跟形容词、名词、分词、介词短语等。例如：

    She seems quite happy today. 今天她似乎很高兴。

    She seems a clever girl. 她似乎是个聪明的女孩。

    The news seems exciting. 消息似乎很激动人心。

    They seemed in high spirits. 他们似乎情绪高涨。

    ③seem后面还可以跟从句。例如：

    It seems that nobody knew what had happened. 似乎没人知道发生了什么事。

    It seems that he was late for the train. 看来他没赶上火车。

    10．I’m very busy at the moment.我此刻非常忙。

    at the moment“此刻；现在（用于一般现在时）”；

    另外还有“那时（用于一般过去时）”。例如：

    I was very busy at the moment.我当时很忙。

    11．I usually cannot find enough time to do the things I want to do.

    通常我没有足够的时间去做我想做的事情。

    ①I want to do是定语从句，在句中修饰名词the things。

    ②动词不定式to do作定语，修饰名词time；enough修饰名词时，放在名词time之前；修饰形容词或副词时，放在其后。例如：

    He walks slowly enough. 他走得够慢的了。
